2025 Summer Festival Recap!

The 9th Annual Jackson Hole Food & Wine Summer Festival has officially wrapped! Over the course of three extraordinary days, we celebrated all things culinary in the heart of Jackson Hole—while proudly supporting Hole Food Rescue.

This year’s Festival brought together a dynamic mix of local and visiting chefs, restaurants, artisans, and beverage pros, delivering unforgettable food and drink experiences at some of the region’s most stunning locations.

THURSDAY, JUNE 26

THE GLORIES OF GRAND CRU MUSIGNY

We kicked off the Summer Festival with one of the most coveted tastings on the schedule: a lineup of rare, cellar-aged vintages from the legendary Comte Georges de Vogüé. For wine collectors, this was the dream—a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience five exceptional Grand and Premier Cru wines, including Musigny Grand Cru 1999 and 2022, Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru 2009, and more.

Hosted at the beautiful Caldera House, this extraordinary tasting was guided by an all-star team: Jean-Luc Pepin, Estate Manager of Comte Georges de Vogüé; Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey; and Billy Weiss of North Berkeley Imports.

As Bobby Stuckey perfectly said, “We are so lucky to be here. These moments are getting more and more rare.”

THURSDAY, JUNE 26

TASTE OF JACKSON HOLE

We kicked off the first night of the Summer Festival in the most delicious way possible with Taste of Jackson Hole!

525 guests filled Rendezvous Lodge at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for an unforgettable evening celebrating all things food and drink. From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed with a custom Summer Festival glass and a refreshing pour of 2024 The Pale Rosé by Sacha Lichine — the perfect start to an epic culinary night.

Our presenting sponsor MLD and gracious hosts Jackson Hole Mountain Resort helped set the stage for an evening full of flavor and fun. MLD go the party started with their popular espresso martinis! Don Julio served up premium tequila cocktails like the bold El Diablo and a smooth Repo Old Fashioned, while Bulleit Whiskey wowed with timeless classics—including a rich Old Fashioned and a refined Rye Manhattan.

Guests explored 15 food booths featuring incredible dishes from Jackson Hole’s top restaurants. Our beneficiary Hole Food Rescue shared their inspiring mission and served a rescued dish of hummus, baba ganoush, and tzatziki with crostinis.

With over 17 beverage booths pouring wine, beer, and spirits, no one went thirsty. To top it all off, guests captured memories in the photo booth, capping off a truly magical evening.

Two worlds. One Dinner. Endless flavor.

On Friday evening at Wild Sage, Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa, Chef Cody Cheetham of Tavernetta, Denver, CO brought bold Italian finesse to an intimate Jackson setting - paired with the storied elegance of Comte Georges de Vogue wines from Burgundy.

As guests made their way through six rare vintages, including 2022 Musigny Grand Cru and Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru ‘Les Amoureuses,’ Estate Manager Jean Luc-Pepin and Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey of Frasca Food & Wine guided the room through each pour.

Thank you to Billy Weiss of North Berkeley Imports and our friends from Tavernetta for an unforgettable evening where Alpine soul met Rocky Mountain charm.

The Capesante with Diver Scallops, Sweet Corn “Polenta,”and Pancetta paired with Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé Musigny Blanc Grand Cru 2022 was pure perfection. It was the perfect way to start an incredible night of food and wine!

CONTEMPORARY CALIFORNIA

Friday’s dinner at Snake River Sporting Club brought the best of the bay to the mountains. Chef Melissa Perello of Frances and Octavia built a menu around peak-season produce sourced straight from her locals farmers market in San Francisco and served it with effortless, elegant style.

Wines from Matthiasson Wines in Napa Valley, poured by Jill and Steve Matthiasson, met the moment beautifully. Grown and made with care, their small family winery is rooted with sustainable farming, organice practices, and a deep respect for place. No partners, no investors - just the vision of two longtime leaders in the local food movement doing things their own way. We loved being witnesses to their craft.

The food and wine pairings were on point! We are still dreaming about the third course pairing with the Mafaldine “Alle Cacciatore” and the 2022 Matthiasson Napa Valley Refosco, Matthiasson Vineyard. This course left everyone wanting more!

Jackson’s stunning Mead Ranch set the stage for an unforgettable finale to our Summer Festival weekend. Presented by J.P. Morgan and sponsored by YETI, this ultimate ranch party kicked off with a celebratory pour of Chandon Reserve Blanc de Blancs in custom Jackson Hole Food & Wine YETI wine tumblers—a perfect welcome toast.

Our featured guest chefs—Cody Cheetham, Melissa Perello, and acclaimed pitmasters Leonard Botello IV and Andrew & Michelle Muñoz—joined forces with some of Jackson Hole’s finest culinary talent from Hotel Jackson, Kampai, The Bistro, Snake River Grill, Steadfire Chophouse, and Wild Sage to create a truly next-level tasting event.

Guests were treated to some standout dishes like Cold-Smoked Lamb Ribs, Heirloom Corn Tostadas with Smoked Beef Cheeks and Beef Tallow, Grilled Arrosticini, and Sonoma Duck Sausage—just to name a few.

More than 350 attendees soaked up a sun-drenched Jackson day at Mead Ranch, enjoying yard games, incredible wines, and cold craft beers. The sounds of local bluegrass favorites One Ton Pig set the perfect backdrop, while two lively bars served up premium pours from Don Julio and Bulleit Whiskey.

Incredible food. Fantastic company. Unbeatable views. It was a night to remember and the perfect close to a delicious weekend.
