HELP US KEEP THE CULINARY CONVERSATION THRIVING IN JACKSON HOLE!
$112,000 RAISED TO LOCAL AND NATIONAL NON-PROFITS
Our festival is committed to highlighting our community, broadening our culinary conversations and supporting local organizations that directly benefit and strengthen our community.
For 2026 proceeds from our events will continue to make our programming possible in addition to supporting Hole Food Rescue, a local non-profit whose mission is to reduce waste and cultivate food security in Teton County, WY.
MISSION: TO REDUCE FOOD WASTE AND CULTIVATE FOOD SECURITY IN TETON COUNTY, WYOMING
Hole Food Rescue distributes excess food to organizations which serve residents of Teton County. Participating food retailers set aside unsellable, yet perfectly edible, food products.
In the 2021 Community Health Needs Assessment, 9.5% of Teton County residents were identified as food insecure. A team of 250 dedicated HFR volunteers rescue approximately 36,000 pounds of food from going to the landfill each month.
About 6% of that food is composted because it is deemed unsuitable for consumption. That means we are able to redistribute 33,000 pounds of imperfect yet nutritious food to community members each month through their programs.
Since Hole Food Rescue’s inception in 2013, they have saved more than 3 million pounds of food from entering the waste stream.
