JACKSON HOLE FOOD & WINE CODE OF CONDUCT

Jackson Hole Food & Wine is dedicated to providing a welcoming, harassment-free experience where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. We do not tolerate harassment or unacceptable behavior in any form.

All participants—staff, attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, special guests and volunteers—at our event are required to agree to and abide by this event Code of Conduct. Organizers will enforce this Code of Conduct throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a professional, respectful, welcoming, and safe environment for all participants. Participants are asked to please drink responsibly.

Harassment may include deliberate intimidation, exclusion, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, and offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, and/or technology choices. Violence and threats of violence will not be tolerated; the “heat of the moment” is not an excuse.

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Examples include physical or verbal abuse, lewd or offensive behavior or destruction or vandalizing of property.

If you are being harassed or witness unacceptable behavior please contact a member of the event staff immediately. You may also email any concerns to megan@jhfoodandwine.com. Participants who are asked to stop any harassing or unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Jackson Hole Food & Wine may take whatever actions it deems appropriate, including, for example, expulsion from the event without refund, notification of inappropriate behavior to sponsor/exhibitor’s employer, disqualification from attending future events and involvement with local law enforcement.

This is our policy and is subject to change.
