Katie was born and raised in New York’s Hudson Valley, stealing sips of chardonnay from her parents at the dinner table. She spent her twenties living in New York City, where she began her career in the restaurant industry after leaving her job in the music industry. Her love for wine budded when she started to work for Daniel Boulud’s restaurant group, The Dinex Group, where the world of fine wine enthralled her. She worked and studied hard to become a Sommelier at db Bistro Moderne and was then offered the Head Sommelier job at David Burke’s Fishtail restaurant part of the David Burke Group.

In 2015, Katie joined Kobrand Corporation, a family-owned import company with over 75 years of history. After three years as a District Manager in New York City, she was promoted to be the French Portfolio Brand Specialist and relocated to Chicago, where she represented Kobrand’s extensive French portfolio of wines in over 20 states. In March of 2020, Katie was promoted once again to State Manager of Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana, where she now proudly represents Kobrand’s entire portfolio which brings together wine and sake from five continents. Katie lives in Portland, Oregon. She spends her free time exploring her new territory and all of the beauty it has to offer. She still steals sips of chardonnay from her parents at the dinner table.
