REGIONAL MANAGER, EDRINGTON | PORTLAND, OR

A native Montanan and current resident of Portland, OR, Matt has been a spirits industry professional for over 16 years. Upon graduation from university, he worked for Young’s Market Company and sold their distilled spirits portfolio across Western Montana. He spent the next nine years working for Young’s Market in various roles that ultimately took him to Portland, OR where he became the Key Account On-Premise Specialist for the greater Portland market. It was the experience in this vibrant food and drink mecca that really drove Matt’s passion for the spirits industry and fed his need for continued education and growth.

In 2014, that drive led him to Edrington Americas – supplier of some of the finest premium spirits in the world such as The Macallan Single Malt, Highland Park Single Malt, and Brugal Dominican Rums – where Matt serves as Area Manager for the five control markets in the West. In this role, Matt has continued to champion brand and category education and has presented at several key trade and industry events, hosted countless Single Malt dinners, and shared his fair share of excellent drams with wonderful people. He holds a Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS) accolade from The Society of Wine Educators.
